About Clemson SIA
In the year 2012, a group of ladies strived to find the first Latina sorority to establish at Clemson University in South Carolina. Through dedicated research, these ladies found the Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, inc. which was exactly what they were looking for. It was from that moment on that these ladies worked hard to bring diversity and culture to Clemson University.
Finally in the year 2014, four ambitious Latina ladies went the extra mile to put the hard work into action. Xiomaira Mendez, Marlene Olvera , Amanda Arroyo and Felicity Caughran founded the Fall 14’ line known as “Coming Together is a Beginning, Keeping Together is Progress, Working Together is Success.”
